Smith Family Christmas Party

We started the night off with a lovely turkey dinner.
Then we had a white elephant gift exchange. Jacob and I came away with salt and pepper shakers and a Healing Illuminating Egg. It glows rainbow colors, so I guess you can say we hit the jackpot.
Here is Brynlee holding the gift my mom opened from Bethany. It's a real mouse in a ball. Rigged? maybe.
Then we had a talent show. We caught most of it on video. Here's the Ham Fam reciting a Christmas poem.
Sadly, I am banned from posting the sister music video to "Hard Candy Christmas".

After the talent show I killed everyone at Buzz Quiz World.
The End. (Christmas day pictures coming soon)

Speaking of Asian...

Jacob's grandparents in Japan sent us my new favorite ornament.

"I love her like a sister" - Jacob Ellsworth

p.s. Contrary to popular belief, Jacob is not 1/4 Japanese. His grandparents are just on a mission.

Thoughts while watching SYTYCD

Ryan/Gaston- go home and quit wearing wife-beaters and flirting with other girls. barf.

Team Jakob!

Mary, please stop yelling.

I'm just glad that Russell is dressed up as Santa.

I hope Legacy cries again.

The judges are speaking alien for way too long.

Mollee loves her busteas

"Easy Street" is my fav.

GRR why the ... isn't Ashley in the bottom?! She didn't even dance.

I LUB Asia's number one pop group!
I wish I was Asian. No really.

Date Night: Christmas Decor

We made some festive decorations for our home.

Jacob made this lovely Froot Loop (yes that's how they spell it) and popcorn garland.

I made some rick-rack ornaments...

For our three-foot tree. As you can see, we don't really need to put paper snowflakes in the window as we originally planned.

I also took EmmaLee's advise and turned my yo yos into ornaments

and put on the cute Christmas pillow cover she made us. (She made one for every holiday!)

Thanksgiving

We went down to Arizona for the break. I took pictures. Then Jacob deleted them (on accident).

Pretty much we just played with the nieces and nephews a lot,
made them to participate in "Thanksgiving Musical",
did crafts (Indian headbands, hand turkeys, paper planes)
began filming Hard Candy Christmas,
went shopping on Black Friday, etc. etc.

Now its time to start Christmasing!!
