Most nights Jacob gets Clark to bed so tonight when he wasn't home I found myself worrying, "oh no, what if he cries because Jacob's not the one putting him down".
Of course he didn't--I am Mom after all--but how lucky that these thoughts even pop into my head! Almost every other mom I talk to frets that her kid will freak out because she's not there to do bedtime, never the other way around. Not to mention I came home to a spotless kitchen last night. I know no one cares to hear about how great my husband is ( except maybe our moms), but he is great and tomorrow is Valentine's Day so deal with it.
