Day 25

(I pay him to say that kinda stuff.)

Tonight my visiting teacher had us over for dinner with her family. I had worried it might be a little awkward but it really wasn't at all. Having the chance to speak to other adults is always a treat!

When I first turned 18 and got assignments to visit teach, I didn't really get it. I mean I knew technically what the goal was, but it just seemed like it usually ended up being an awkward inconvenience for everyone involved. But now I realize that it's because I always had plenty of people around to love and support me. Not everyone has that, myself included now. So having people reach out to me and others that I can reach out to is really nice. The way the church is organized is just so perfect!
